Worship & Nurture

Membership and Term: three persons with one appointed annually for a three year term plus Youth rep., Pastor and Music Director

Purpose: To provide leadership in planning meaningful worship experiences while considering the diversity of the congregation.

 Responsibilities:

a)     To provide direction and plan for congregational worship experiences for all occasions.

b)     To continually be aware of the worship needs in the congregation and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to meet such needs.

c)     To plan with the pastor in choosing themes and emphasis and evaluating worship experiences.

d)     To organize the Annual Church Talent Show.

e)     To organize schedules for those giving leadership to different elements of worship service.

f)     To plan and coordinate the training of new song leaders, pianists and worship leaders, as well as continuing to develop the skills of those already volunteering their gifts in these capacities.
