Ushers

Membership and Term:  four persons with two persons appointed annually for a two year term

Purpose: To provide a positive setting in order to enhance the worship experience.

Responsibilities:

a)     To assign persons to receive offerings.

b)     To serve as ushers and assist persons where needed.

c)     To help visitors and regular attendees find suitable seats.

d)     To set up and regroup chairs when needed including Sunday School classes.

e)     To provide song books for everyone.

f)     To distribute required information during the service, such as ballots.

g)     To re-arrange pulpit, tables, screen, etc. when required.

h)     To provide for proper ventilation.

i)     To hand out bulletins etc. before people are seated.

j)     To record worship service attendance.

k)     To collect song books following the service.
