MYF Youth Leaders

Membership and Term: four persons for a two year term

Purpose: To provide leadership that encourages positive youth ministry.

Responsibilities:

a)     To provide leadership for both social and spiritual aspects of youth ministry in the congregation.

b)     To provide leadership for group experiences for youth which will be nurturing and inspire Christian faith, congregational loyalty and Christian service.

c)     To encourage and provide leadership in an outreach ministry to youth in the community.

d)     To form significant relationships with youth and be available to offer support.

e)     To encourage youth involvement and leadership in the planning of events.

f)     To encourage meaningful relationships between youth and adults.

g)     To work in relationship with the congregational Pastor/Leader and Mentors.

h)     To encourage youth involvement in congregational worship experiences.

i)     To work in co-operation with Conference Youth Leaders and executive encouraging involvement in Conference Activities.
